John primarily practices in issues relating to all aspects of the firm’s public sector clients.  He is also actively involved in representing private sector clients relating to employment matters.

Sample of notable projects:

• Advising municipality in a cross-lake ferry project, which included working on a portion of the debt structure and lease for port facilities.
• Acted as local counsel on an expansion of a sewage treatment facility.
• Advised municipalities and acted as chief negotiator on numerous collective bargaining agreements.
• In that capacity also acted as advocate and panel member on interest arbitration matters.
• Advised and represented municipalities in grievance arbitrations.
• Advised and represented numerous private sector clients on employment matters, including age discrimination, sex discrimination, sexual harassment, race discrimination, wage and hour claims and claims of veterans.
