George W. Johnson began his practice in the areas of wills, trusts, probate and estate planning over thirty years ago.  He has a wide range of experience in working with all types of Estates.  George’s practice focuses on drafting various estate planning documents, such as wills, trust agreements, marital property agreements, family limited partnerships, and powers of attorney. He represents estates during administration, including the preparation of Federal Estate and Gift Tax Returns.

George W. Johnson focuses his attention on estate planning; working to preserve family relationships, which are often challenged by the death or incapacity of a loved one.  His personal expertise is in analyzing complicated laws and cases; making them clear, understandable and workable for his clients.

He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan.  George then went on to receive his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Denver.  He was admitted to the Michigan State bar in 1975.  George W. Johnson join the firm of O’Toole, Johnson, Potter, Rolf and Eklund in 1976, then became a full partner in 1977.  In 1992 his firm joined with the Parmenter, Forsythe, Rude, Van Epps, Briggs & Fauri and became Parmenter O’Toole.
