Anna Urick Duggins

Anna Urick Duggins specializes in the area of Estate Planning, Probate Administration, Elder Law and Medicaid Planning. In the estate planning area her main focus developing and maintaining a plan for her clients’ distribution of assets during lifetime and upon their death.  Anna prepares estate plan documents including Wills and Trusts Agreements, Marital Property Agreements, Powers of Attorneys, and special needs trusts.  In the area of probate her main focus is on estate administration. In the area of Elder Law, her main focus is on developing a plan for her clients to become Medicaid eligible while maximizing the amount of assets they can retain. Anna is also certified in Veteran’s benefits.

Anna is a lifetime Michigan resident.  She received her undergraduate degree from Albion College and her law degree from Wayne State University Law School. She was admitted to the Michigan State Bar in 1997.  She then went on to work for Parmenter O’Toole as an associate until she became a partner in 2003. Anna is active in the community.  She is a Member of the Lake Michigan Estate Planning Council,  Chair of the Planned Giving Committee for United Way of the Lakeshore, serves on the Board of Directors at Pioneer Resources, and a member and past President of the Muskegon County Bar Association.

On a personal note, Anna is married to Greg Duggins, and they reside in Norton Shores with their two children, Jack and George.
