Adam G. Zuwerink

Attorney

Adam works primarily with the firm’s business and real estate clients, specifically focusing on counseling clients on tax-qualified and non-qualified employee benefit plans, including defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans, welfare plans, deferred compensation plans and stock option plans.

A native of Fremont, Adam received his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law in May, 2004. While in law school, he served as a volunteer assistant track and field coach for the Cavaliers, as an intern in the NCAA Rules Compliance Office, and as an editorial board member of the school’s Journal of Law and Politics, and the Sports and Entertainment Law Journal.

Prior to earning his law degree, Adam received a BA in Political Science and Anthropology from the University of Michigan in December, 2000, where he was a hurdler on the Wolverines track and field team and a news editor for the Michigan Daily. Before entering law school, Adam served as the head women’s track and field coach for Dexter (Michigan) High School, and he remains an active member of the track and field and running community.

He is married to Elizabeth Zuwerink, an elementary Spanish teacher in Rockford. Adam and Beth reside in Norton Shores with their black lab, Haley.
